How do I interview with Zen Educate?

To arrange an interview you'll need to complete our online registration. It only takes a few minutes to let us know about you and what you're looking for.

Once we've reviewed your application - which can take a couple of days - we'll contact you to schedule an interview if we think we can find you work.

How do I join the interview?

Your interview will be held online to make it easier for you. You can interview from anywhere, as long as you have a device—computer or mobile—with a camera and a strong WiFi signal. We suggest also being in a quiet and private location if possible.

What happens in your interview

The interview typically lasts around 20 minutes, but please allow for up to 30 minutes. Plan to answer questions about your teaching experience, lessons you have taught, classroom management strategies, safeguarding children, and your proudest moments. We want to get to know you and your teaching style better so that we can help you find relevant work faster.

Before your interview

Before your interview, you must complete all the relevant sections of your profile as shown in your app. You must also ensure you have completed the Safeguarding training, as the interview will cover this.

To avoid delays we also suggest you take a few minutes immediately before your interview to check your video and microphone are working. You can check your video and microphone settings here.
