Not getting booking alerts?
Push notifications are how you find out about new daily supply requests. If they are not coming through, you could be missing out on work. Here is how to fix it.
Start here - reinstall the app
If Zen Educate is not showing up in your phone's notification settings, a simple update will not fix it.
You need to reinstall the app to reset the connection.
Do this in order:
- Delete the app - press and hold the Zen Educate icon and select Delete or Uninstall.
- Restart your phone - turn it off, wait 30 seconds, then turn it back on.
- Reinstall the app - download it again from the App Store or Google Play.
- Log in and leave the app open - once you are logged in, keep the app open on screen for a couple of minutes without switching to anything else. This lets it register with our notification system.
- Allow notifications - when the permission prompt appears, tap Allow.
- Check your settings - go to your phone's Settings, then Notifications, find Zen Educate, and make sure Allow Notifications is switched on.

Do Not Disturb or Focus mode
If Do Not Disturb or a Focus mode like Sleep or Work is turned on, it will silence all alerts including booking notifications. Check your phone settings and switch it off.
Low Power Mode
When your battery is low, your phone may restrict background activity and delay notifications. Turn off Low Power Mode in your battery settings and see if that helps.
Background App Refresh
Zen needs permission to check for new data in the background so notifications arrive in real time.
- iPhone: go to Settings, tap Apps, find Zen Educate, and make sure Background App Refresh is turned on.
- Android: go to Data Usage settings and make sure Background Data is enabled for Zen Educate.
Keep the app up to date We regularly release updates that improve how notifications work. Check the App Store or Google Play to make sure you are on the latest version.
