Not seeing any work?

If the Supply or Jobs tabs look empty, there are a few things worth checking. Most of the time it comes down to one of these.


Are you fully verified?

You need to be verified before daily supply requests start coming through. If you are still working through your onboarding documents, that is likely why things look quiet for now.

Not sure where you are in the process? Check your compliance status in the app.


Has your vetting expired?

If you were receiving roles before but they have stopped, your compliance documents may have expired. Make sure your Right to Work, DBS, and Safeguarding certificate are all current and up to date.


Check your preferences

The app only shows you roles that match your preferences. If your settings are too narrow, you could be filtering out a lot of work without realising it.


A smaller radius means fewer schools in range — try increasing it and see what comes up.

Travel radius: Tap More, then Preferences.


Year Groups and Education Settings. Tap your profile photo, then go to the Education tab at the top and scroll down. From here you can view your year groups and settings. The more you have selected, the more roles you will see.

If you cannot make changes yourself email support@zeneducate.com with the subject line: "Preference Update" and the details of what you would like changed.


Check your calendar

The app will not show you roles on days you have already marked as unavailable or days where you have an accepted booking. Open your Calendar tab and check there are no blocks on days you are actually free.


Timing matters

Daily supply roles move quickly - especially first thing in the morning when schools post for the day. If you are checking late in the day, a lot of requests will already have been filled.

Check the app early and make sure push notifications are turned on so you hear about new roles the moment they come in.


Is your absence rate affecting your eligibility?

A high number of short-notice absences can affect the roles you are shown. If you think this might be the case, get in touch and we can take a look.
