Understanding your bookings
There are three places in the app where you can see your work: the Supply tab, the Jobs tab, and the Calendar tab. Each one shows you something different depending on the type of work.
The Supply tab — daily supply work
The Supply tab is where day-to-day supply roles appear and where you accept them. It has two views:
Available: Roles that have come in and are waiting for you to accept. If you can see a role here, it has not been confirmed yet. Tap it to review the details and accept it.
Accepted: Roles you have accepted. Once you tap accept, the booking moves here and you are confirmed for that day.
To switch between the two views, tap Available or Accepted at the top of the Supply tab.
The Jobs tab — long-term work
The Jobs tab is where longer-term roles are listed. It has three views:
All — all open long-term roles available based on your preferences and location.
Interested — roles you have expressed interest in. Once you tap interested on a role, it appears here. The Account Manager for the specific school will be notified and if they think you are a strong match, they will put your CV forward to the school. If you do not hear anything back, it means you were not put forward for that particular role.
Trials — any trial days that have been booked. A trial day is a day at a school before a long-term placement is confirmed, giving the school a chance to see you in action first. Trial days also appear in your Calendar.
The Calendar tab — your full picture
The Calendar tab shows all your confirmed bookings in one place — daily supply, long term bookings and trial days. Each booking appears as a green bar on the date it falls on, showing the school name, your role, the hours, and your daily rate.
You can switch between Week and Month view using the toggle at the top right. At the bottom of the week view you can also see your total days booked and estimated earnings for that week before deductions.
The simplest way to check if you are booked
If a booking appears in your Calendar, you are confirmed for that day. If it is not in your Calendar, the booking is not in place - either it was cancelled, never accepted, or has not come through yet.
What to do if a booking has disappeared
If a booking that was in your Calendar is no longer there, the most likely reason is that the school has cancelled it. Check your notifications for any updates from Zen Educate.
If you were not notified and believe the cancellation was unexpected, get in touch and the team can look into it for you.
