Timesheets and checking your hours
Every week Zen Educate records your hours based on what the school logs. You do not need to submit a timesheet yourself - but you do need to check it and flag any errors by the following Monday if something looks wrong.
Where can I view my full timesheet?
You can view your timesheets at any time via the app here . or https//app.zeneducate.com/teacher/timesheets.
Your weekly timesheet email
Every Friday you will receive an email with the subject "Your work this week" showing the hours recorded for that week. It will include the school name, your role, each day worked, the hours logged, any unpaid break time, and your total earnings for the week before tax and deductions.
Take a few minutes to check it over when it arrives.
If everything looks right - you do not need to do anything and there is no need to reply.
Your payment will be with you by close of business the following Friday.
Why is there an unpaid break on my timesheet?
Unpaid breaks are standard and are set by the school. They are recorded on your timesheet exactly as the school has logged them. This is normal and applies to most bookings.
Something looks wrong - what do I do?
Reply directly to your "Your work this week" email by Monday with the following details:
- The date affected
- What does not look right - for example, incorrect hours, wrong break time, or a missing day
- What the correct details should be
The team will review it and correct it before payroll runs.
The Monday deadline is firm. Payroll is processed on Tuesday, so any queries received after Monday cannot be fixed in time for that week's payment. If you miss the deadline, the correction will be carried over and included in the following week's pay instead.
