How does it work?

  • Book Zen supply staff as usual.
  • Automatic Sync: On the day the bookings starts, their vetted details appear on your SCR dashboard.
  • Identity Checks Made Easy: Record an ID check when they enter the school.
  • Always Current: When they leave, their record is automatically archived, keeping your SCR up to date effortlessly.

FAQ

How long will the supply staff stay on my SCR?

The supply staff details would automatically show on your “Vetting” dashboard on their booking start date, and will remain there until their booking end date, after which they could be found in the archived section under “Staff” page.


What happens if a booking is cancelled or if there's a replacement staff due to an absence?

The Zen Vetting platform automatically update every 15min, meaning any cancellation would remove the supply staff from your record, and any replacement staff would automatically appear on your SCR.


What happens if a previous supply staff come back again in two month’s time?

Supply staff who previously worked at your school could be found in the archived section under "Staff" page. If they come back to your school in the future, they will be automatically unarchived on the booking start date so you would be able to find them on the Vetting dashboard again.


I have put a supply booking in, but I can't see the supply staff on my SCR?

The supply staff detail would only appear on the Vetting dashboard on their booking start date, i.e. the day the staff is actually in the school. This means they won't appear yet on your SCR if their booking start date is in the future. This is because Ofsted expects the SCR to be an accurate reflection of who is in the school on the day.


Why is there discrepancies between the vetting information shown on their vetting profile and the booking confirmation email?

This could happen if the staff vetting information has changed between when the school receives the booking confirmation email, and the booking start date of the supply staff.


I already have the supply staff record on my SCR, what do I do with the duplicate record?

We recommend archiving all previous Zen supply staff record already on your SCR, as this would be auto populated going forward.
