The Guaranteed Supply Scheme (GSS)

The Guaranteed Supply Scheme (GSS) is designed for educators who want more consistent work and a level of financial security on days when a booking cannot be found.

How it works

If you are on the Guaranteed Supply Scheme:

  • If we find you work: you receive your standard daily rate plus a bonus on top
  • If we cannot find you work: you receive a guaranteed percentage of your daily rate for that day

This means you are not left with nothing on days when bookings are hard to come by in your area.

What is expected in return

The scheme works because both sides commit to it. In return for the guarantee, you are expected to:

  • Be available on your agreed working days
  • Respond to booking requests within 5 minutes between 7:00am and 11:00am
  • Be willing to travel up to 60 minutes to a school
  • Cover a minimum of 6 year groups
  • Accept instant bookings that fall within your stated preferences - you will not have the option to decline these
  • The guarantee only applies on days when Zen Educate genuinely cannot find you work

Please note: the guarantee does not apply during the first week and last week before each half-term.

Is this scheme right for me?

The GSS works best for educators who are flexible, responsive, and willing to travel. If you have narrow preferences or limited availability, the scheme may not be the right fit.

How to apply

You can learn more about the scheme by completing the "Welcome to the Guaranteed Supply Work Scheme" training in the app — go to More → Training → All training to find it.

Important: completing the training does not guarantee a place on the scheme. All applications are reviewed by the team, and places are subject to availability in your area..
