Welcome to Zen Educate

Getting started with Zen Educate is straightforward. Here is what to expect at each stage, from signing up to receiving your first booking.


How it works


1. Download the Zen Educate app and complete your profile.

The more complete it is, the faster things move.


2. Getting to know you

Once your profile is set up, you will be invited to a short qualifying call. This is a quick, relaxed conversation to help us understand what kind of roles you are looking for and what to expect from working with Zen Educate.


You can take this call in one of two ways.

  • With our AI voice agent — available any time, including evenings and weekends. No waiting for schedules to align. Every candidate is asked the same questions, which keeps things consistent and fair. To access it, select the Phone Interview option in your profile under your vetting steps.
  • With a member of the team — if you would prefer to speak with a person, you can request a call with someone from the Zen Educate team instead.

After the call you will receive an email with your next steps, including the documents you will need to upload.


3. Safeguarding and DBS

Once your qualifying call is done, you can complete your safeguarding training in the app at any time. Go to More, then Training, and search for the safeguarding course. This needs to be current before you can be verified.


4. DBS Check

You will need a valid DBS certificate to work through Zen Educate. You can either upload an existing certificate or apply for a new one through the app. Both options are available after your qualifying call.

5. Video Interview

Once your safeguarding and DBS are in order, you will be sent a link to complete a short video interview. This is self-recorded and can be done in your own time, whenever suits you.


6. Verification

Once your video interview is complete, the team will collect your references and confirm all your documentation is in place. When everything has been verified, your profile will be marked as active and you will start receiving booking requests.


How long does it take?

The timeline depends on how quickly you can gather and submit your documents. The fastest route through is to respond to any requests from the team promptly and upload everything as soon as you have it.
