Welcome to Zen Educate
Getting started with Zen Educate is straightforward. Here is what to expect at each stage, from signing up to receiving your first booking.
How it works
1. Download the Zen Educate app and complete your profile.
2. Getting to know you
You will be invited to a short qualifying call - a conversation to help us understand where you are in your job search, what kind of roles you are looking for, and what to expect from working with us.
You can take the call in one of two ways:
- Speak with our AI voice agent - available any time, day or evening, including weekends. No waiting for schedules to align. Every candidate is asked the same questions, which keeps things consistent and fair. Completing the AI call flags your profile sooner, helping to kick off your onboarding faster. How to access it: select the Phone Interview option in your profile, listed amongst your vetting steps.

Speak with a member of the team directly - if you prefer, you can have your qualifying call with a person from the Zen Educate team instead.
After the call you will receive an email with your next steps, including the documents you will need to upload.
3. Safeguarding and DBS
To move to the next stage you will need to complete your safeguarding training and either upload your existing DBS certificate or pay for a new one through the app. Both of these can be done at any time after your qualifying call.
4. Your video interview Once your safeguarding and DBS are in order, you will be sent a link to complete a video interview in your own time. This is a self-recorded interview you can complete whenever suits you.
5. Verification Once your video interview is complete, we will collect your references and make sure all the necessary documentation is in place. When everything has been verified, your profile will be marked as active and you will be ready to start receiving and accepting bookings.
How long does it take?
The timeline depends on how quickly you can gather and submit your documents. The fastest way through is to respond promptly to any requests from the team and upload everything as soon as you have it.
