Reporting a Lateness
If you are running late, let the school know as soon as possible - directly through the app. Do not wait until you arrive.
Why it matters
Schools rely on Zen Educate for consistent, on-time cover. Turning up late without notice can leave a classroom unsupported and puts extra pressure on the school team. A quick message goes a long way.
Keep it brief and clear - include your expected arrival time and a short reason. That is all the school needs to adjust their plans.
How to message the school in the app
- Open the app and tap Calendar
- Tap the booking you are running late for
- Tap Message
- Include your expected arrival time and reason for your delay

Tip: If you have messaged this school before, tap the messages icon in the top right corner of the Home screen for quick access.
Important
Arriving more than 2 hours late without prior notice counts as a no-show and the booking may be cancelled.
